Week 2 is when the real adjustments happen. Be patient and kind with yourself AND your child. La segunda demand es cuando se produce el verdadero ajuste . Ten paciencia y se amable contigo mismo y con tu hijo.

🎉 Congratulations to Mesa Grande’s very own Mrs. Katrina Gomez! 🐴✨

Mrs. Gomez was the lucky winner of a Back-to-School raffle hosted by local pediatric dentist Dr. Paul S. Bell! 🦷💙 She sent in a classroom wishlist, and Dr. Bell made those wishes come true by providing supplies for her room and students.

Thank you so much for your incredible generosity and support of our school community, Dr. Bell! We are so grateful for local partners who help our Mustangs shine. 📚✏️

Yesterday at Mesa Grande, we held Dress Like Mr. Kirk Day, and our students and staff absolutely understood the assignment! From his signature style to his unstoppable energy, the campus was flooded with mini-Mr. Kirks showing him just how much he is loved and appreciated.

Last Friday, our 6th graders were treated to a BBQ by our awesome parent group. We could not have done this without them. Best wishes, 6th graders!

Last week, our youngest Mustangs had their Field Day. Thank you to all of the staff and all of the amazing parent volunteers that helped make this such a fun time for our students.

🎉 Big celebrations at Mesa Grande! 🎉

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our amazing students who officially reclassified as Fluent English Proficient! 🌟

Reaching this milestone takes immense dedication, grit, and hard work. Our students have shown what it truly means to persevere and succeed, and we could not be prouder of their achievements.

A huge thank you to our wonderful teachers, staff, and families who have supported them every step of the way! 💙🚀

Today we had College & Career Day. Our students loved it! We had so many wonderful volunteers come out and teach our students. Thank you to Mrs. Orozco , Ms,. Reynoso, and Ms. Rebeca for putting on such a wonderful event.

Don’t let the memories fade! 📸 MESA Yearbooks are still available for purchase! We have very limited quantities left, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. Secure your copy today before we completely sell out!

Today, students who had no referrals, did 90% of their work, and less than five absences, tardies, and/or early outs this semester received their medals. Those that won a medal got to play outdoor games and win a popsicle. We had so many parent helpers here to help. Thank you.
