Today, students who had no referrals, did 90% of their work, and less than five absences, tardies, and/or early outs this semester received their medals. Those that won a medal got to play outdoor games and win a popsicle. We had so many parent helpers here to help. Thank you.

Mesa Grand students dove deep into creativity in Wednesday's Festival of the Arts! 🌊 Under the glow of black lights, our students brought ocean animals to life – from whales to sea urchins and everything in between. Every student contributed a piece and the result was nothing short of spectacular! 🪼🐋✨ #FestivalOfTheArts #GoMesaGrande #StudentArt #UnderTheSea

It’s been a BUSY and BRILLIANT week of project-based learning at Mesa Grande! 🌟 Our Mustangs are showing off their creativity and smarts as we wrap up our latest units:

☕️ Ms. Monge’s 3rd Graders hosted a cozy Poetry Cafe! Students took the stage to share original poems with families and staff. Such a talented group of writers!

🎲 Ms. Llacuna’s 4th Graders turned math into a game! They designed and built their own board games to master those math facts. Who knew studying could be this fun?

🟩 Ms. Brand’s 4th Graders went Minecraft-style! Students built 3D animals out of boxes, gave them awesome alliterative names, and put their geometry skills to the test by calculating area and perimeter. 🦒📐

We are so proud of our students and teachers for making learning come to life!

Mrs. Llacuna’s 4th graders turned trash into treasure for Earth Day! 🌎♻️ They repurposed our cafeteria boxes to create an impressive Cardboard Arcade and then invited all the 3rd–5th graders, staff, and families to play — and the fun was 100% student-made! #EarthDay #CardboardArcade #GoMesaMustangs
