Mrs. Mack develops positive character in her students by showing gratitude to our service men and women. The White Table is set to remember those soldiers that will not be home for the holidays.

At Mesa Grande, a value we commit to is to encourage positive character. Showing up at school is a positive characteristic. Last week, we threw a party for all of the students who had perfect attendance for the first quarter. The 145 students loved their treat. Way to go, kids!

At Mesa Grande, one of our values is to love our students. One way that teachers do this is through morning greetings. Every day, the teachers greet their students before entering the room. Here is Ms. Parenti greeting one of her students. When students start the day off positively, they have a much better day.

At Mesa Grande, one of our values is committing to an academic focus. Last week, first through sixth graders who scored at or above grade level on their first iReady Diagnostic were rewarded with an ice cream party. Congratulations to those Mustangs! We had over 100 students participate. Keep up the good work! We look forward to celebrating with more of our students at the next iReady party.

At Mesa Grande, one of our values is encouraging positive character. Recently, some sixth graders have been learning about respecting people who work in our school, and making sure everyone at the school is treated with kindness and respect. Here is a picture of one of the sixth graders getting to know Mr. Kirk better, by interviewing him.

Get ready to make some colorful memories, Mesa families! 🌈
We are so excited to announce our First-Ever Color Run on Friday, October 24th, starting at 9:00 AM!
Every single student gets to participate in the walk and cheer on their classmates! But for those who want to get covered in a rainbow of fun, students must purchase a special event T-shirt for $15. Only students wearing the official T-shirt will be able to go through the color powder stations!
This is a fantastic, fun way to support our school, and we're hoping for a huge turnout! Thank you for helping us make our first Color Run a vibrant success! 🎉

Today was our Monthly Motivated Mustangs reward. Thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers for doing this. EVERY student who had perfect attendance last month ate nachos or Hot Cheetos. Each month, students with perfect attendance for that month get a prize. Make sure your child doesn't miss out. They just need to show up to school, and good things happen.

Reading Buddies are back! 📚 Our 6th graders (Ms. Frye's class) teamed up with their 1st grade buddies (Ms. Smith's class) for some quality reading time today. The older students practiced leadership, and the littlest Mustangs got to cozy up with a great story. This is what the Mesa Grande community is all about! ❤️
